Back when growing up in the mid 80's during 1985 and 1986 my Saturday afternoon's were filled watching in syndication on my local independent TV station, the taped broadcast of "World Class Championship Wrestling" most and many shows were at the Texas Sports arena. Most shows were thru the Dallas, Fort Worth, and other near by Texas regions as the league was founded by ex wrestler Fritz Von Erich. Most interviews and promos were well done with gimmicks and energy. Many matches were fast paced and action filled and main events were feuds between superstars and heel rivals many between the Von Erich's and fabulous Freebirds were highly enjoyable. And heels like Gary Hart, Chris Adams, Gino Hernandez, Bruiser Brody, The Great Kabuki, Kamala, and The Missing Link made the league highly watchable. Everything is bigger in Texas and that sure held true with it's wrestling territory in "World Class" as it was some of the best wrestling ever that I enjoyed.

World Class Championship Wrestling
(1972–1989)
Fun, entertaining, action packed wrestling that I remember as a kid.
