I read the novel 'Hwjn' 10 years ago and was so excited to finally see it on the big screen. The movie didn't disappoint, it's very enjoyable and engaging, easily the best Saudi Sci-Fi film. The insights into the Saudi perception of Jin are not only entertaining but also make 'the unknown' less scary in a humorous way.
The soundtrack is absolutely amazing, relatable and perfectly complement the film's mood. The production value is impressive. A cinematic treat indeed.
Za'anam was an absolutely spot-on character from the book; no one could have played the role better than Naif.
Can't wait to see more of Ibrahim Abbas' novels turned into films.
