Review of Saray

Saray (1997)
8/10
It's a pity for the movie
12 October 2023
The biggest betrayal of the ruling regime of Fars in the last hundred years in the geography of Iran is to trample on the natural and primary rights of the nations of this geography, which banned the mother tongue and made Farsi mandatory.

This film is for Azerbaijan and its language is Turkish, but they made the film Persian and have destroyed the sense of naturalness and originality. The sense of authenticity in the film is when people speak Turkish and sing Turkish songs, and it seems like a documentary about the people of that country, but when they speak Farsi, the viewer is separated from that feeling.
