A couple on sailing vacation in Greece takes on the mission to save a vulnerable refugee.
Regarding the subject - this movie takes a different approach than the usual victim-saviour narration. Altough there is a power imbalance, it is played with and leaves the viewers sympathy split.
I think this was a interesting movie. Someone said the acting was not believable, but I strongly disagree. I feel like this movie was a personal dicsplacement. The playing card scene really stuck with me, I could somehow relate to Iben's (Sofia Helin) need of "assertion".
For me this movie was about what trauma and grief brings out of you, how it kind of turns into a two sided desperation of redemption or submission.
Sorry for my english.
Watch it.
