Yet another vehicle for woman-of-the-moment Li Ching, INTRIGUE IN NYLONS is another contemporary comedy from Shaw with throwbacks to their '60s output. That means there's some lively song and dance moments added to the mix, a little incongruous when the story is actually about the advertising business and the volatile nature of the work. Ching is a secretary secretly working undercover for a rival firm, but romance gets in the way. There's a lot of silly comedy here that's not really my cup of tea, as well as the chance to see some actors playing in a different genre and different roles to how you normally experience them.
