This short film about domestic abuse and the effects of drink and drugs on a family is anchored by a very strong central performance by Gary Wales. The directing and production values are also very convincing for such a low budget film. I especially loved the use of the steadi-cam, which gave the film an unsettling tone and makes the audience feel like the camera is rarely still and action could explode at any time. The police scenes are very well done and I can only assume they got permission to film in an actual police station, because that was certainly a real cell used in the film. Well done to all involved.
