Bitch Ass harkens back to the fun of your first horror film. It looks great (boldly going anamorphic) and definitely delivers a good time -- thanks to its inspired cast, the script, and of course the directing. Bill Posley stages things well and amps up the tension throughout. Tunde Layele is a gem as the killer with the right kind of pathos to make the audience root for him. The rest of the cast are strongly developed and quite memorable -- especially young Cecil and his Grandmother.
Nutshell: If you're tired of flicks about an "invincible killer with a lame backstory", you should check out Bitch Ass.
