7/10
It ends with a good episode.

Reg receives 120 quid payment in insurance, after seven years without a car, he invests in a little runaround, his plan, to take the family to the seaside.

It's a good final episode, I enjoyed it, it's nice to see the family out and about, seeing them in the great outdoors feels so much better, it's much less studio bound. There were several laughs herr. The scene in the cafe was pretty funny, I loved the chains on the crockery, best of all, the car on the beach.

I was so glad to see Michael Robbins appear as the dodgy car salesman, he did a cracking job, he was wonderfully dodgy and shifty, definitely a busy guy at the time, he'd have been busy with On The Buses.

If in totally honest, I'm not surprised it didn't return for a second series, I think they definitely went as far as they possibly could. This was perhaps the best episode of the series.

7/10.
