This idealized fairy tale / coming-of-age farce makes no pretense of realism; everybody is filthy rich (or at the very least living in huge castles), beautiful, irresistible and willing. The persistent flippancy amuses at first, but eventually tires. Francine Bergé (Marion) is my favorite of all the women. ** out of 4.
