Arabian Knights (1968–1969)
9/10
A Neat Adventure

A cartoon that was part of the Banana Splits show, Arabian Knights tells the tale of Prince Tuhran, who is on the run after the evil Bakaar invades Baghdad and takes its throne. Joined by his cousin, Princess Nida, and three warriors, Fariik the Magician, Raseem the Strong, and Baz the Beast, and Zazuum, Raseem's donkey, the six form a team to free all of Persia from Bakaar's rule as the Arabian Knights.

Another classic series from Hanna-Barbera, Arabian Knights tells a good story of action and magic. While the series is an action series, it does a good job throwing in some comedy (as Bakaar's minions are defeated in comedic ways), The voice acting is good and the animation is good for the time, but sadly, like most cartoons of the time, there was no ending, as the final episode is basically the gang rescuing a prince from another kingdom.
