The premise is similar to many others but enough different to be interesting.
My problem was that Mark Ghanimé was so irritating that it set the tone and I never got into the swing of the movie.
Both leads spoke a lot of mumbo jumbo in the beginning regarding self-actualization which also turned me off.
I said the premise was interesting, but that might be because it was so odd- the idea of manufacturing love for Jackie in just a few weeks and then broadcasting the whole personal experience. Can love be a self-actualized experience?
There might have been chemistry between the leads, but I was too blinded by Alex's early posturing and I just never got past that characteristic in him.
