At just under an hour it's not slow paced, the story follows the classic formula and apart from the refreshing introduction of Tom and Jerry it plays out in much the same way with a surprisingly decent amount of action.
It's nowhere near as good as some of the other Robin Hood adaptions but I'm finding it difficult to fault it for what it is, the characters are all there and perhaps they're a average in their characterisation it's not boring. I would have liked to see a bit more from Maid Marian however.
