. . . to speak for itself. MICKEY PLAYS PAPA reflects the haphazard, negligent, misanthropic approach the Dizzy cartoon personnel habitually took toward their local parenting responsibilities (or loco parent miss, for those fluent in Latin). A serious dude either IS or IS NOT a papa. No right-minded male would "play" at being a father figure, let alone point a loaded shotgun wielded by a shaky trigger hand at an obvious babe in the cradle!
