I have only seen the first episode. It was just okay. I feel for the victim's family and friends, but the show kept cutting back to them to remind us of their grief. It felt overdone.
The investigation itself was well documented, though the outcome was never in doubt. The show tried to mislead viewers by having one of the recreation actors draw an X through the profile picture of the key suspect. That part annoyed me. I don't believe for a second that the real life investigators ever did that, so I felt the show was being untruthful in their telling of the story in order to create fake uncertainty.
I will probably watch the other episodes.
