When the story begins, the kids' teacher (James FInlayson) is trying to get the kids to vote for him, as there's some sort of contest where the winner gets a trip to Europe.
Abruptly the scene switches and the teacher is getting on a ship to Europe as you assume he's won. But, surprise, seven of his most unruly students are on the ship waiting as apparently they're going with him. The trip leads to Italy, London and Paris and for the most part it plays like a travelogue punctuated with the kids misbehaving. You also get to see Stan Laurel in the streets of London, Prince Edward and the French President, 'ol whats-his-name. None of this is especially funny but it does hold your interest.
