Full Out 2: You Got This! (2020 TV Movie)

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING
4 January 2021
When I saw the movie was about the Oklahoma University gymnastics team, I was extremely excited because they are my favorite gymnastics team. But just a couple minutes into the movie, I was already not liking what I saw.

1. Of course, they had stunt doubles doing all the skill, which I already knew was the case before the movie. But, after every tumbling pass they would have the cameras at there face and have them saluting and standing proud. LIKE THAT IS NOT WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU END EVERY SKILL.

2. When the actors would "fall" on events it looked like they literally were forced to and was super unnatural!

3. Which leads to point three. The actors were very unnatural in there acting and I don't think they may have been the right fit for the parts. They didn't have the build like a gymnast usually does and some didn't look like there characters. I honesty think the gymnasts should have just played there own roles and it would have been a lot better.

4. This was the worst though. DID ANYONE SEE THAT "VAULT" TOWARDS THE END OF THE MOVIE THE COMPETITION?!?!?! Like she literally skipped down the runway, hit the springboard, CUT OUT THE VAULT PART, THEN YOU COULD SEE HER JUMP OFF THE TABLE, AND THEN OF COURSE THE PERFECT LANDING?!?!? I actually replayed that about five times just because it was so bad.

5. Not to mention that they did BACK LAYOUTS and JUST FLYAWAYS as skills at a COLLEGE LEVEL is just wrong. And the girls thought it was amazing!?!?! Like they should be doing at least double backs or double fulls!?!?! Like what the heck!

As a gymnast and actor myself, I think they could have done A LOT better with this movie. They really made the first movie look bad. Please take my suggestion and do not watch this movie if you haven't already! I really wish I could get that hour and a half back.
