To be fair, you must have a very high IQ to understand Cats and Dogs 3. Humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid understanding of theoretical physics, most jokes will go through the typical viewer's head.
There is also the perspective of Pablo the parakeet that cleverly interwoven into his characterization; his personal philosophy is largely based on the literature of Narodnaya Volya. The fans understand these things; They have the brainpower to really appreciate the depth of these jokes, to realize that they are not only funny, but they say something profound about life.
As a consequence, people who don't like Cats and Dogs 3 are really dumb; of course, they would not appreciate it. I'm grinning right now imagining one of those confused norms scratching his head in confusion as Scott Bindley's genius wits unfold on the big screen.
