Cold light of day
25 October 2019
What begins as a very interesting idea of a bitter vietnamese war vet travelling to America to exact revenge unfortunately turns into a game of typical cat and mouse. The first half of the movie smoulders nicely as it sets its idea up but, it soon decends into a cliche finale. Its a shame becasue the idea is a good one and Michael Ironside deserved more to lead with. Chicago also looks wonderfully grimey and cold and makes for a great setting for what should have been a modern day Vietnam conflict between two vets on US soil. Worth a look.
