Horribly choppy and deadly boring

Voodoo, haunted areas, ghosts, and zombies should be a scary fun, and exciting topic. Unfortunately, in Haunted Jamaica, the constant cutting to printed explanations destroys any continuity, and makes it impossible to watch.

People are in the middle of saying something, and it cuts out to an explanation or definition page for 10-15 seconds. What a buzzkill. After a while, I could not even watch the participants, because any second while they were making their presentations, it would cut off to a page with definitions of what they were talking about. A lot of the cuts were totally unnecessary, and a waste of time.

Overall, this documentary is horrible, and instead of providing documentation and information about Jamaican Voodoo and the occult, it seems very fake, and like very bogus investigation and effort was put into this.

Not surprisingly, the original film-maker, Michael Philip Edwards (3 first names?) had shelved the project for several years, and the footage was bought and salvaged by Joe Fontana, who cut and pasted together a very rough and rudimentary final cut. It could have been a lot better with less editing.
