The ending is obscure and syncopated
17 February 2018
A split feature in which the first story makes a bit more than one reel, with the rest finished up by a farce love story. In the first offering, it is not a drama, is a story of newspaper life that is not realistic nor convincing and gets nowhere; the ending is obscure and syncopated. The author is Edwin Balmer and Marshall Farnum produced it. - The Moving Picture World, December 27, 1913
