it is not convincing. and far to be coherent. it seems be a mixture of different influences, using the atmosphere, the eroticism, the old solutions for a reasonable work about nothing. sure, it is a beautiful film. but not more. this is far to be a sin. because, after its end, the only important thing remains its flavors. it seems be an improvisation. mixing influences/images from Luchino Visconti and memories about Mediteranean forms of justice and soap operas. the purpose - a Romantic story. and the result is decent. but only significant part remains the delicate frame of a tragic love story. and , maybe, it could be enough.
