The title and subtitle ("Closer to Truth: Cosmos, Consciousness, and God") pretty much say it all. Robert Lawrence Kuhn asks a wide variety of existential questions. He never finds ultimate answers to these questions. Kuhn approaches theologians, philosophers, and scientists for opinions which might lead to ideas of what the answers might be.
Robert Lawrence Kuhn fully admits that he would like to believe in God. However, Kuhn understands the pitfalls of wishful thinking. He is not afraid to ask the difficult questions which might lead to answers which he might not like. Kuhn interviews experts from a variety of disciplines; and, those experts' beliefs come from all parts of the belief spectrum.
The show is done in an intelligent way. Robert Lawrence Kuhn asks great questions; and, the interviews are thought provoking. Some viewers might be dissatisfied with the fact that Kuhn never finds ultimate answers; but sometimes, the journey can be just as rewarding as the destination.
