When I heard that Calum Worthy had his own show, to say I was unimpressed was an understatement. Based on his acting on "Austin and Ally", I figured that this show was just going to be him being an idiot and acting badly. I was just glad that they didn't give Laura Morano/Ross Lynch/Raini Rodriguez their own show, because if I had to pick, Worthy would be the "least hate-able" actor on that show.
So, basically, I was avoiding having to watch it for as long as possible.
But then, I was forced to watch an episode ("King of the Beach") and I even found myself snickering at some of the jokes. Sometimes, some of the jokes fall flat, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. If you find yourself perusing Disney Channel and it happens to be on, definitely give it a chance. You might not like it, but it's definitely better than a lot of the shows on Disney now.
