I never know about Christian movies. Often the acting is terrible, the shots are bad and the storyline is just so pat that it really doesn't look anything like the Christian life that I live every day. This movie is relatively different than most Christian movies. The acting was very good for the most part, the video and shots were great and the story doesn't end with everything ending up perfectly. I really liked that. I almost gave up on it in the middle and thought I saw it all wrapping up in a neat little bow. I'm glad I held on. Christians do get their houses foreclosed. Christians do have strained relationships with other people. We don't all go around smiling all the time. That's real life. This movie was as close to Christian real life as I've ever seen. The credits at the end were also a glimpse of reality. Dedicating it to the people who passed away during the making of the film and including their pictures, some of whom were very young, really brought it home. God doesn't always heal and doesn't keep bad stuff from happening. He does help us walk through it though. Good job on the film as a whole.
