5/10
inadequate acting
28 June 2010
Although 'Chambre a part' shows an entertaining story and a fairly well-done picturing, partly in Paris and partly in London, one cannot escape being disappointed by its acting.

For its cast two popular singers were selected: Jacques Dutronc and Lio. Both have a shining reputation in French popular music. Unfortunately it does not suffice to level this film up to an acceptable quality.

The two other leads, acting an elderly couple, do not perform above mediocrity, too.

Only Engelbert Humperdinck comes out well in 'Chambre a part'. He restricts himself to where he is good in: singing.
