Low budget action fun!! Heck Yeah!!!

Warning: Spoilers
Hello my fellow reviewer's i am back with another fun review, Riot is one of the best low budget action movie released in the 90's back when the video market was full of movies that were sent straight to VHS (does anyone remember VHS). low budget action movies might sound crude but should not be because when it comes to kick the crap out of people and blow the stuff out of extras and stunt doubles i would say that these films deliver more action and fun than those so called Hollywood action movies. The big action studio that delivered most of the best straight to video movies were pm studio's. This studio were the king of these action movies that delivered the best action outside of the great hong kong action movies but hey who can compare to them. Not everyone one there movies were great or good but Riot is one of their best movies and one of Gary Daniels best movie's. I know if you are a gary daniels fan ( if you are not then what the heck are you waiting for jump on this band wagon) he has done some good action movies and i know in recent years he has been doing a lot horrible films. Gary Daniles stars as a ex British agent who get brought into a war zone, as a bunch of dudes kidnap his girlfriend and bring her into a city that has a riot going on. That is all the plot really is i mean who really needs more of a plot when really all we need is gary to kick the stuff out people and to shoot as many people as he can. I mean the first 20 minutes or so are for setting up the plot and to introduce us to Sugar Ray Leonard who plays Gary friend and who helps Gary on his mission. I know Sugar Ray Leonard but before you start saying REALLY watch the movie as Sugar is good in the film and there is a great scene that has Sugar Ray and Gary beating the crap out a bunch of dudes in a bar. When you really thing about it this scene did not really need to be in the movie but who am i to say no to good violence. But after this fight scene the movies is just straight a heat action which is good but wait a lot of movies have action in them, it really depends how well the action is delivered. The fights are good as you can see every move and Gary really is a true life fighter and he does deliver the goods and why the heck he never became a bigger action hero is beyond me. I mean he has the martial art skills and his acting is better than Van damme and Segal both put together and his movies are altogether are more better than both those guy's so called action movies. Another plus is that near the end of the movie we are introduced to the main villain who is no other than Sandman from Van Damme's Death Warrent who really good as being a evil dude the only thing i wished is that he had a bigger fight scene with Gary.In th end the films delivers all you wish in a action movie a lot of action both fights and shoot outs and a fair plot and just pure fun energy. Riot gets a B (for low budget action kick A@@ fun!! Heck Yeah!!!!)
