Highly stylized and polished--watch this if you don't have enough patience to see an entire full-length film!

This is an odd little film that is like a full-length romantic film crammed into only 25 minutes. However, it's no ordinary romance, as the film makers seem strongly inspired by French films of the 1960s--such as BREATHLESS and A MAN AND A WOMAN. This is especially true with the very unusual dialog as well as the choice to film it in black and white like a 60s film. Plus, the couple in this film didn't really sound quite like real people (something true in some of the French New Wave films)--as the characters seem drenched in their own strong sense of cleverness as they spout dialog that is just too perfect and mannered to be true. This isn't necessarily a criticism--this is just the style the film makers tried to create. An interesting experiment, though one I wouldn't want to see every day.

The film has very nice film work, music and a style that says that the people who made this have a great future--they obviously are quite talented.
