THe director did use Dylan's classic in his film:Marthe Keller plays the record to Maurice Ronet.But the connection with the flick is very thin,cause in the context of a thriller,this song does not make much sense....unless the "open" ending counts.
This is a French /German production but it is more in the mold of French B movies than influenced by the then rising of the new German cinema .This is routine thriller.Maurice Ronet portrays a heart patient cop who investigates a wealthy man's suicide (or was it one?) and his life insurance .
