I saw this show on a VHS tape, I think that's where I saw P.Diddy's(or Puff Daddy at the time) video 4 that horrible cover of Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five song "The Message"(1982)--he sampled the background music from that song 4 his song...NEWAYS I didn't watch it all the way through b/c the VHS tape cut off after that so the video didn't finish up.
But I have a clip from that show back in 1998 with the debut of "The One" with Mayte(O(+>/the Artist's wife at the time) introducing the video.
It's a shame the show wasn't mentioned on the recent BET 25 Years show.
Even though the show is no longer on air..at least I gotta clip of it 2 watch from time 2 time...best memory from BET in the 90s.
