this pointless movie, made post-sexual liberation but apparently pre-women's liberation, is occasionally funny but never clever. its the story of a college professor and his colleagues, whose primary activities are drinking and ogling women of the small town of Cuevana. the old and unattractive professor seems to have a way with young and beautiful women, including one of his students, the radiant (and engaged) Gloria. the plot develops when the professor is informed by a drunken associate that Gloria has a heart condition, which will prove fatal on her wedding night, when the 21 year old "virgin" experiences her first orgasm, causing her heart to burst. hilarity ensues, as the professor tries to find a way to tell Gloria about her heart, which she knows nothing about. meanwhile he screws his friend's wife and there is a mysterious flasher roaming the town... the script is sort of all over the place, and the ending is mostly predictable, but the movie is kind of fun, just for the 70s styles and the absurdity of the whole thing.
