Truth be told, when I sat down to watch the 2024 horror movie "Lethally Blonde", I wasn't harboring any grand expectations, given the movie's rather laughable title. But still, since it was a movie that I had never seen, nor actually heard about, and with it apparently being a horror movie, of course I opted to sit down and watch what director Dylan Vox and writers Bryan Dick and Scotty Mullen had to offer, aside from a movie with a stupid title.
First of all, I have to state that "Lethally Blonde" is a thriller, and not a horror movie, as I was lead to believe. So don't sit down to watch the movie, believing you're in for a horror experience, you'll only find yourself sorely disappointed.
The storyline in the movie was okay. I mean, it was a watchable movie, and it was actually entertaining enough for what it turned out to be. At least, I was pleasantly surprised, as I had no particularly high hopes for the movie. But writers Bryan Dick and Scotty Mullen proved to be capable of putting together a fair enough thriller, if you enjoy a young adult campus-life thriller.
I was not familiar with the cast ensemble in the movie, most of whom were women. I will say, though, that the acting performances were fair.
"Lethally Blonde" is a movie that you watch once, then forget about entirely, and never return to watch a second time.
My rating of director Dylan Vox's 2024 thriller "Lethally Blonde" lands on a four out of ten stars.
