It's better than average for a creepy spider movie. Nothing special about any of the cast, the story is quite simple when you work out that the spider did indeed come from a comet, bizarrely enough, and the annoying twelve year old girl who's plastered in make up and getting a bit awkwardly close to her father - albeit not her real one I think - was a little eye brow raising yukky. But, the jump sort of scares and thrills and the special effects worked, there is tension perhaps not enough of it and there's elements of realism (until the spider starts whistling and stuff) so therefore the movie is a fraction better than it's rated, better than many other movies on Netflix that are over hyped, and well, I chose this on Halloween because it stood out in comparison so that would tell you enough. Would you watch this once? Yeah, there again you're not going to watch a horror sort of movie more than once anyway. So unfairly trashed but due to the range of acting which is weak and other things I've rated this as fair as I will allow myself.
