So Lily and Michael run away to go to Alabama in 1957, but don't weary they will come back. Plus also starring (James Picken,Jr.) who plays "Chick" a mean, sick and stupid man who will do anything to get what he wants. Then there's (Marla Gibbs) who plays "Mazie,Lily's Momma" who is very nice. And (W. Earl Brown) who plays "Sherrif Boyd" who needs help.
