An interesting piece of animation history!

While the story and animation may not be the best, it's nonetheless an interesting piece of animation history. The dub voice actors also did a solid job at translating the story. The biggest downside has to be the writing and characters though. The motivations for what certain characters do are all over the place, with major characters making drop-of-a-hat decisions. And while the voice actors did a commendable job, some scenes don't do the actors any favors, and require them to have awkward pauses and deliveries. However, that is to be expected with older foreign media, especially with the limited animation.
