Horror hottie Cerina Vincent stars in this entertaining short as busty babe Alison, who, having been dumped by her boyfriend (as if!), is spending Halloween night at home alone, Skyping her best friend Jenna. While chatting away, Alison notices a shadowy figure moving in the room behind her friend. Could it be the escaped maniac she saw on the news earlier? After Jenna goes to investigate and is suddenly grabbed in the dark, a terrified Alison calls the police, but while she is on the phone, the killer sends her a series of grisly images via computer...

Skypemare is eight minutes extremely well spent: the lovely Ms Vincent impresses with her acting ability (as well as with her obvious physical attributes), John Fitzpatrick's writing and direction are as taut as his star's vest, there a few well executed shocks with a little gore, and a cruel twist that leaves Alison in dire need of help herself rounds off matters very nicely indeed.
