Nice terrifying music to bring us into the first scene. I like that this sequel carries on from the first film, in resolving some of the plot. Basically, we are taken straight into a scene of chaos and intense fighting, as the Guild is finally brought down. Kitten has some excellent skills in fighting, I believe she could take on an army of the undead alone if she had to. It's a great heroine story, as she seems to take over the show, I like that we are seeing a heroine character. Kitten is a girl on a mission, as she seeks revenge for the killing of her mother in the last film. I like that we actually find out what happened to the mother, Gina, and the storyline to this is well thought out. Kitten is reunited with Simon, and an unexpected twist is revealed. The cliffhanger at the end of the last film is resolved, I'm satisfied with the resolution, and the twist is fantastic and enthralling. When a familiar person returns from the last film, it adds more depth to the story. This character has her own mission, and it's not a good one. I like the emotive feeling at the end, along with the massive epic ending.
I would recommend this one to watch, but you must make sure you watch the first film before you dive into this one, or you will not get the premise of this film. I commend the acting, sound effects, music (which intensifies during the appropriate scenes.) Basic cinematography, nothing too over the top. Action scenes are great, and the editing is well done too.
