We wonder why attractive Damian is out pulling a chunky, unattractive, older guy. He's pretty insistent which only deepens the mystery. Tension builds in the car and at the stop in the woods where he explains he doesn't live alone so couldn't take his pick up home.
The men drink together but something is wrong. The director skillfully engenders a sense of menace but we don't know the reason for it.
An attempted flight, a capture and all is revealed. Unfortunately the storyline provided here on IMDb has given the plot away; Damian is a vigilante rectifying, in his way, abuse suffered by him and other boys in the past. He's had his revenge on several priests already and we see at the film's end that he is not stopping.
It's an interesting subject and a dangerous one in an age when respect for the law is diminishing. It's a conundrum - Damian would never get justice so many years later. Is he justified? But will he get catharsis? We can only hope for him.
