Sony really had something here if you removed the third party characters this would've been a great rival to super smash bros alas Sony expects success right outta the gate I can explain why it failed and I can also explain why it deserves a second chance

It was released to close to the launch of the ps4

Reliance on 3rd party characters

3 special attacks was a pointless mechanic

Sony saying there isn't enough material to continue this franchise further

Positives This is worth porting to the ps5

If they wanna compete with Nintendo this is the right way to go about it

The rival battles were awesome

Sony needs a reality check there's money on the table with this franchise just hire koei techmo and team ninja to help develop a sequel the fans are begging for this as they say the customer is always right

Sony's business model of wasting half a billion dollars on a game that lasted 2 weeks isn't a great idea if the from software acquisition goes through we can kiss dark souls goodbye.
