An illustration of how feelings can be expresses through body language

"The sad hand of Dr. Luvidacus" is actually not that sad. It expresses a variety of feelings: love, melancholy, pride, fear. The dinner scene is amazing in terms of how emotions are expressed through sign language. The movie itself is a lesson that a gesture can say more than a thousand words. It reminds the audience that from time to time we should stop talking that much and focus on our emotions and body language, which are much more powerful and impactful if used correctly. An inspiring movie, funny, surprising and with a deep message. Doris is also a role model character, able to go from being emotionally stuck into the past to taking the right decision in spite of her feelings.
