I associate the Marc Dorcel label with glamorous Euro porn, often sporting high production values and attractive locations. For SEX ME, I'M FAMOUS! the pretty girls show up but it's bargain-basement cranking.
Although there is a half-hour Behind the Scenes included on the DVD as an extra, the actual feature plays like the BTS is integrated, with no fourth wall at all. The alternate title CELEBRITY SEX is apt, because at one point a heroine reaches over and takes the cameraman's dick out of his pants to give him a blow job, the identical format to so many celebrity "home videos" like the Shauna Sand, Julie K. Smith and even more famous entries.
Video has five lengthy vignettes, all of them shot in cinema verite fashion, or rather, the cheapo "real-time" videography technique. I crave storyline-porn, and this ain't it.
"The Studio" has two extremely top-heavy models arriving for a photo shoot, that looks like a legit session -not even cheesecake. But backstage instead of dressing they undress and have a very lengthy lesbian love encounter. This is the one where the cameraman joins in for troilism and anal sex.
Tarra White is impressive in this sequence, and there is an almost amusing ending where the anxious shutterbug yells for the girls to get on the set pronto, and Tarra goes from post-money shot dripping mode to a rushing to dress for the shoot so quickly you have to admire her professionalism.
Horst Baron stars in the second scene as "The Rich Fiancé", treating his girl friend Jenna Lovely to a shopping spree, and then a shtupping spree. Horst looks paunchy but as always gives hope to the older segment of the male porn audience. Jenna really looks like a carbon copy of Jenna Jameson here, not meant as an insult but rather a compliment.
The third segment titled "The Friends" is really poor, almost a poster child for what's wrong with porn, TV, pop culture, you name it. It is a couple of beauties, flatter chested than usual, making out lesbo-style in the backseat of their car, as another femme drives. It's boring, not as explicit as one would expect in XXX land, and lacks the expected punch line re: the driver's reaction. Strictly filler and the porno equivalent of "Reality TV" in terms of technique.
After boring us to death, the duo arrive at a party, where everybody is drinking champagne and humping. It's pretty dreary, but gives the fans a requisite double penetration scene and spotlights sleek and nasty looking Sarah Twain, who I'd rather see in a story film.
Finale "Ladies Games" is another boring lesbian encounter at a photo session.
This yawner credited to director Louis Moiré merely wants me to avoid other videos credited to him; I'll be looking for better stories (like MADAM or THE WIDOW) from Dorcel & co. in future.
