...this might not be the best choice but it is a fantastic movie all the same. A well crafted exploration into human nature by experienced writer Tim Beckett and first time director Tim Lethbridge. Artfully made on a modest budget, director Tim Lethbridge makes the most out of the beautiful Australian locations and draws out brilliant performances from his cast.
From the swearing like a sailor pregers lady to the reporter who hates his wife to the older punk brother who sings his own music, at the heart of this movie is a touching romance between the two young leads. A mix of experienced Australian acting talent and some delightful fresh faced newcomers sees A Day at the Oasis a lovely way to spend your time at the cinema.
