Ball and Vase

If you're exhausted by superhero films like I am, you should check this film out. Director Dave Baram did an amazing job with this film. This is the real deal. People dealing with real human issues. It has a tremendous performance by Austin Pendleton as a magician struggling to maintain his skills and place in the world. It is so refreshing to see a film that knows how to make you care. It is beautifully done, with excellent pacing and the sound design was skillful. There are a few fresh face actors in there and they did a great job hanging with a legend like Pendleton. There is talk that it may develop into a feature film. If that is the case, I will definitely see it.
