This film got the audience choice award at the NFFTY (National Film Festival for Talented Youth), for good reason - it's sweet, engaging, and beautifully crafted. It's amazing how well each character is defined in such a short time, and how engaging they are.
The director of the short is Jackson Adams, he and the composer, producer and cinematographer were asked up on stage after the movie. They are a team of friends just finishing Emerson College and Berklee School of Music who have been making films together for several years and plan to continue working together after college. The music, which was composed for the film by Kush Mody, matches and augments each scene - it fits the movie like a comfortable pair of jeans.
All in all, a very professional, very entertaining production.
