Despite being offered the role of Dean Hardscrabble outright, Dame Helen Mirren requested that she audition for the role anyway to ensure that the filmmakers were satisfied with her performance.

Erros de gravação
When Mrs. Graves is counting students, she counts to 19 and then notices that Mike is missing, which means that there are 20 students in the class. If this were the case, he wouldn't have to pair up with the teacher. However, one of the students could have two heads, similar to Terry and Terri - though they are considered two separate entities, Mike could not conceivably pair up with one of them while the other already has a partner.

Versões alternativas
When Randy tries to fit in the fraternities, he bakes cupcakes that have icing on them that spell out "Be My Pal". After his plate is disturbed, he is holding four of them reading "lame." This is only in the English-speaking country releases of the film. All other international versions simply have happy faces drawn in icing on each cupcake.

Pixar does it again

Having really enjoyed Monsters Inc when I was younger, I was pleasantly surprised when I heard that there was going to be a prequel released.

It was interesting to see how all the characters had met and what their friendships were like in the earlier days. The film has a good simple plot and is perfect for the whole family to enjoy as there is also some funny parts as well as heartwarming moments. It was great that Mike and Sulley (the two main characters) had the same voice-overs as the original film, this made it feel more authentic.

Overall I really enjoyed this film, but then who doesn't love a good Disney Pixar film?
