I watched this Movie because a German YouTuber (who also Has an English channel) called "Die Filmanalyse" (the filmaanlysis) said, it was the most intelligent movie of the year.
And it is.
The plot is pretty simple. The protagonist Julius is an imposter. He lies to everyone about his past, present and future: His current job, his parents, etc.
But not for money, in fact, we don't even know why Julius always lies.
The movie initiates a feeling of mistrust, if a friend tells us a story, did it really happen?
My favourite dialogue is at the beginning, where one of Julius friends gets asked about his religion and why he even believes in god. Julius defends his friend, who gets picked on because of his belief in god.
Julius says that we all believe something and that what we believe (and who) builds the world around us!
This is basically the key of the movie and it is presented in such an intelligent way, not only story wisely but also cinematically.
If you are looking for a drama to think about with extremely well written dialogues, you will love it.
Also, the end literally gave me goosebumps ;)
