Featured in the film is Sonny West, Elvis' lifetime body guard and part of the "Memphis Mafia". He was fired in Elvis' last days because he tried to get him off drugs and never had a chance to say good bye. In the movie he did and actual tears came to his eyes. Sonny passed May of 2017.
