What this looks like is that the politically correct crowd has won again. It looks like the producers abandoned their sick twisted ways and gave a more dry monotonous twist to the series.
I understand Mr. Pickles was a little too "out there" for most people. It was very controversial. But I liked it and many others did too. But this show? It's not funny. Actually it's probably the least entertaining show on adult swim rn.
Sheriff's dry monotonous humor is very underwhelming. Aside from a couple short belly laughs. Add this onto the fact that this used to be where Mr. Pickles cast his reigns.
A lot of people were hoping for Mr Pickles. I hope one day the producers look and see how many people they disappointed and try to bring back Mr. Pickles. In the meantime, I, along with many other people, change the channel when this show comes on. Then I tune back to adult swim after 12:30am when the show finishes.
Whether or not you liked Mr. Pickles, if you saw the show, it left its mark on you either way. You remembered Mr Pickles. You will never find a person who saw the show and didn't remember the name right away. That's part of what makes a quality show. But Momma Named Me Sheriff is forgettable unless they some how make it lead to a resurrection of Mr Pickles or the puppy. Even then, people seeing Mr (or Ms) Pickles are going to remember that and the only thing MNMS will be remembered for is "that lifeless gap in the series that we don't miss"
