A beautiful movie set in the mountains of Austria.

This story highlights the adventures of Canadian girl, Caroline, and an Austrian boy, Jacob, who spend the summer with an elderly special effects man and a troupe of eccentric ghosts. A number of plots and subplots weave through the story and tie together well. The 'living' are Canadian movie makers, including Caroline's father, and Austrian townspeople, where a film is being produced. The ghosts have their own stories.

The countryside of Austria (a German-speaking country in Europe) is captivating, and a castle and lake make the perfect backdrops for all the action. The acting and direction are excellent, and though the content is suitable for the whole family, it would be especially interesting for those who enjoy such work as the Harry Potter stories .
