Sporting quality production values, this Couples porn film from very late in the theatrical era of Adult Cinema benefits from polished acting and sexual performances, but is simply unexciting.
Harry Reems is comfortable in the lead role of a get-ahead at any cost wheeler-dealer, anxious to get a contract with visiting businessman Billy Dee. Key plot gimmick is that he even pimps out his daughter (luscious Bunny Bleu, who does not appear in the film at all until the final reels) to Dee to seal the deal.
Colleen Brennan has an underdeveloped character as Reems' neglected wife, with both partners in the marriage highly unfaithful. Sexy maids in their household played by Traci Duzit and busty import Jacqueline Roget get down with Reems and his associates, while Jerry Butler guests as a personal trainer servicing both Brennan and ultra-busty jogger Mindy Rae. Film was reissued on DVD by Alpha Blue Archives on a Mindy 3-fer disk.
Add in Tamara Longley as Reems' sexy secretary and you have formula porn. The director Gary Graver is famous as Robert McCallum in his XXX assignments, but film buffs will notice a chilly breakfast (both reading the newspapers) between Reems and Brennan as a nod to Orson Welles' classic such scene in "Citizen Kane", as Graver's real claim to fame was being Welles' go-to cinematographer during the great one's latter-day directing career on strictly indie projects after the Hollywood studios abandoned him.
