Vovô é um Vampiro

I don't know much about the director or the writer, but the set up here has a older man in a lot of make up, who states the myths and movie representations of vampires are wrong, flamboyantly running around at night with two young boys, even dancing a ring-around-the-rosey with them, talking about going and finding freedom and love and understanding. I'm not sure what the point was with his vampirism, as it has no bearing in the world of horror, and the only reason for his existence seems to be a sympathetic representation for some unstated life style. I don't know but it wasn't the best of cinema. Tragic what later happens with the main kid.
